A poor start and lack of cutting edge saw Institute crash out of the Irish Cup at tonight’s replay in West Belfast. By the time the visitors had settled and found their shape, Ryan Henderson had already headed Donegal Celtic in front after a flick on from McVeigh following a long throw. Supporters are advised that there will be a bus going to the Belfast Telegraph Championship match at Ballinamallard this Saturday. The bus costs only £5 return and leaves the Coffee Stop sharp at 11.30am. The match has a 3pm kick off. Your support would be very welcome for this crucial game.

Institute were 6 minutes from progressing to the next round of the Irish Cup at the expense of Premiership opposition but in the end had to settle for a draw at the Riverside Stadium this afternoon. Stute took the lead at the end of a fairly even first half, when Joe McCready (back from loan at Dungannon) passed the ball out to Sean Roddy who whipped in a great cross which Stephen Parkhouse powered home. The visitors started the second half on the attack, but things soon evened out and Stute could have increased their lead, with new loan signing Darren McCauley and Parkhouse both failing to hit the target when well placed.
